Your first appointment, and what happens after it
The initial appointment carries no obligation. Here is what it involves, what I will ask you, and what happens if you decide to carry on.
Most people arrive at a first appointment having rehearsed it. They have decided what they are going to say, how much they are going to say, and which parts they will leave out. That is completely normal, and it does not matter. You can bring as much or as little as you want to.
Before we meet
Please feel free to get in touch for an informal, no-obligation chat by calling 07765 286 410. That call is not an assessment. It is a chance for you to hear how I work and decide whether you want to take it further.
What the first session covers
- Where you are now, in your own words, without me correcting the account.
- What you have already tried, whether that was a residential programme, an outpatient detox, or your own route.
- What you want your life to look like, in practical terms rather than abstract ones.
- What gets in the way, including the situations and feelings that reliably send you back.
Life Coaching from your location or mine. Whichever you choose, the conversation is confidential.
With no judgement or instruction, only confidential support and encouragement.
If you decide to carry on
We build a plan that is individually tailored around your needs, with time managed accountability, to support you in meeting your short and long-term goals. It moves you positively forward from where you are, to where you want to be.
You are not signing up to a fixed programme with a set number of weeks. The shape of the work follows what you need, and we review it as you go.
Get in touch when you are ready.
